My Texas Trip!!

Well I was in Texas and had a blast! I hated to leave..but was ready to see my kids!! I missed them alot. I loved it out there! It seems like a different pace..and living! I was so happy to see my sister and her kids! Plus I got to meet my new little nephew Luke! He is such a little sweetie! I could just eat him up. I had fun playing and hanging out with Ashleigh and Ryan..when they weren't in school. Ricky my other nephew is so tall...I can't believe he is grown. My sister seems to be hanging in there with doing everything on her own. She is one tough cookie! I tell her all the time she is Superwoman for sure! I don't know if I would be up to all the tasks she has to get through. It was really good just spending time with all of them. I missed my family terribly...but I really enjoyed the break. It was long overdue and well worth it. I came back feeling refreshed and ready to jump right into my mommy duties once again! Every mom should have a break sometime or another. It does you good!! I know it did me good!

Mom/Nanny comes !!

Mom came to visit from Michigan! We haven't seen her since August of last year. The kids were so excited to hear that she was coming! The plan is that she is coming here to my house and I am going to visit my sister Lori for a week that just moved out to Texas. Her hubby is in the army and is stationed in Kuwait for a year. I don't remember when the last time I seen her and the kids. It was really sweet of my sister to fly me out to visit. It is my first time EVER leaving my kids. I hope they do okay without me. I am sure they will...and I know mom will take care of them. I sure will miss them. I am kinda nervous about flying alone....but I'm sure I will be just fine! Just hope I don't get homesick.

St. Patricks Day Fun!

Amaya was so excited to wear her Green shirt today! She said she wanted to make sure I remembered because she didn't want to get pinched...so she reminded me everyday up until now to put it on her. She looks so cute!
Mahayla and I wanted to do something fun for St. Patty's Day...so while Chance and Amaya were at school we made Green Sugar Cookies...with food coloring..and she had so much fun mixing it up. We all enjoyed our green sugar cookies..and our green kool-aid that we made. It turned out to be a day of nothing but green, green, green.

Valentine's Day 2010

Mahayla on Valentine's Day! She sweet talked one of her siblings for a sucker that was in the shape of a heart on a ring pop holder. She said it was cherry flavored and walked around forever sucking on that thing. She said it was so yummy!

Chance was filling out his Bakugan Valentine cards for his 3rd grade class when I snapped this. He was concentrating so hard. He hasn't liked his picture taken that much lately...so I was sneaky to take this one.


Amaya here filling out her Hannah Montana Valentine's Day cards for her 1st grade class. She insisted that she needed no help this year. She did a great job..and was so excited to hand them out.

Valentine's Day was pretty good this year! The kids were so happy to come home from school to show off all their cool valentines they got and all the candy (way to much) that they got at their class parties. I am so glad they had a fun party and day. Loved sharing Valentine's Day with the Loves of my life.

February...Girl Scouts...

We finally finished up Girl Scout cookie selling! Thank goodness...it was a lot to deal with this year..with the amount of girls we have in our troop and with the cookie booths. Amaya did several cookie booths this year...and well exceeded her goal which was 100. She was so happy because she gets more prizes for the more she sales. Alot of the girls in the troop did really good on sales this year even the new ones that hadn't done it before. Here is a picture of Amaya with her Girl Scout Sash on. We all had so many different kinds of cookies to sell...but my family each had their favorites. Amaya loved the peanut butter patties, Lemonades, and Daisy-Go-Rounds. She couldn't get enough eating them. Glad Cookie time is over..and we don't have to do that for another year!

Celebration!

Mahayla turned 4 on January 16th! We had a Disney Princess Party! She dressed as Ariel The Little Mermaid and her sister was dressed as Belle! I can't believe my baby is 4 years old..man time sure has flew by! She looks so big riding her bike she got for her birthday! She kept saying look at me mommy...and asking her daddy to walk with her while she rode. She was so proud of herself. My wish for her is that all her dreams and wishes come true and that she is healthy and happy!

Bowling fun

Today (Saturday 2nd) we decided to go BOWLING! The kids had money leftover from my mom from Christmas..and they really didn't need anything else...so we took them bowling for the first time ever! Mahayla had fun but after 4 frames she was done! Amaya and Chance really had fun and want to go back again real soon! We finished the day with going to McDonalds for lunch! All in all a great family fun day for all of us! There is for sure more bowling in our future!
