ME TIME!

My nephew babysat the kids while me, my sister, and my mom went out to shop some and then get Manicures and Pedicures. I had already had a pedicure before and I knew how relaxing and nice they felt...but the manicure was new to me...and I have to admit..I liked it! I liked having my fingernails looking good too. I picked out a dark blue and they put a matching flower on my thumb and big toe! The girls couldn't stop looking and touching them when we got home. So we had to get the polish out..and do the girls nails. They seemed to have a good time..and we are all looking fabulous together! Always good to have some Girl Time!

Outside Time!

Today we pretty much hung around the house and picked up the house and caught up on laundry today! It was starting to pile up. I took some pictures of the kids outside having some fun hanging out in the front yard. It's hot outside..but you can't stay inside just because of the heat because.. we all know..the kids aren't gonna have that. They seemed to be having a good time. I snapped a couple of pictures of Mahayla and one of Chance..and Amaya was too busy playing with my niece and the neighborhood girls..on scooters and bikes.

Today we let the kids play in the sprinklers... watering my sisters back yard. They seem to have fun..and got cooled off. It has been so hot out here in Texas and the heat doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon! At least they can get out and still stay cool. I took some pictures of Amaya, Chance, and my niece Ashleigh while they were having some fun!

Chic~Fil~A Fun!

It's been raining off and on today so we figured we would take the kids outta the house..because they were driving us bonkers inside..and let them play for a few hours and had lunch at Chic~Fil~A. I can't get enough of that place! It is so yummy and I don't have one of them in our town. So I gotta enjoy it while I can get it. I snapped a few pictures of the kids while they were playing..of course they had to stop and pose..little hams for the camera!

Movie Time!

We went tonight to see a movie...well everyone ended up dividing up and Mahayla and I went to see Toy Story 3...she loved it. I can't believe how good she watched the movie and weren't so figity like she had been in the past. Amaya went with my sister and her kids to see Dispicable me and my mom went with Chance to see The Scorceror's Apprentice. We all left happy..and full from all the popcorn and candy! It turned out to be a good evening all around.

Don't know what I was thinking day...

I went shopping with my sister, nephew, and brother at the mall here in Texas. I have been wanting my eyebrow pierced since high school but never had the nerve to do it..and didn't really want to hear what my mom would have thought if I would have done it then...but now...there was nothing stopping me...and my nephew was in my ear...saying you won't do it...you don't have the nerve....so I decided to shut him up real quick...I signed the paperwork..and was waiting..thinking what in the world am I doing? I am 34 years old and sitting here like I am a teeny bopper! LOL! She came in and it went quick and it felt like two bees were stinging me at the same time..its a weird and painful feeling that is for sure. I am glad its over and hopefully it won't take long to heal. I gotta get used to having it though..and being careful when I towel dry my hair and brush it. I like how it looks though. Hopefully (crossing my fingers) that my hubby likes it when I go home and he see's it.

Splish Splash

Went to the pool today because it is super hot here in Texas! It's been in the 100's! Insanely hot! We tried to all get a little cooler. We had fun. Took some pictures of the kids splashing around. It was a pretty relaxing day! I however am sunburned even though I applied sunblock. It's just my luck. Gonna be hurting for a few days and might have to stay outta the sun awhile. Which will stink. The kids are having a blast here in Texas and so am I! We are wishing that Anthony could be here! We all decided next time we come visit he will have to come..for sure!
