ME TIME!

My nephew babysat the kids while me, my sister, and my mom went out to shop some and then get Manicures and Pedicures. I had already had a pedicure before and I knew how relaxing and nice they felt...but the manicure was new to me...and I have to admit..I liked it! I liked having my fingernails looking good too. I picked out a dark blue and they put a matching flower on my thumb and big toe! The girls couldn't stop looking and touching them when we got home. So we had to get the polish out..and do the girls nails. They seemed to have a good time..and we are all looking fabulous together! Always good to have some Girl Time!

Outside Time!

Today we pretty much hung around the house and picked up the house and caught up on laundry today! It was starting to pile up. I took some pictures of the kids outside having some fun hanging out in the front yard. It's hot outside..but you can't stay inside just because of the heat because.. we all know..the kids aren't gonna have that. They seemed to be having a good time. I snapped a couple of pictures of Mahayla and one of Chance..and Amaya was too busy playing with my niece and the neighborhood girls..on scooters and bikes.

Today we let the kids play in the sprinklers... watering my sisters back yard. They seem to have fun..and got cooled off. It has been so hot out here in Texas and the heat doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon! At least they can get out and still stay cool. I took some pictures of Amaya, Chance, and my niece Ashleigh while they were having some fun!

Chic~Fil~A Fun!

It's been raining off and on today so we figured we would take the kids outta the house..because they were driving us bonkers inside..and let them play for a few hours and had lunch at Chic~Fil~A. I can't get enough of that place! It is so yummy and I don't have one of them in our town. So I gotta enjoy it while I can get it. I snapped a few pictures of the kids while they were playing..of course they had to stop and pose..little hams for the camera!

Movie Time!

We went tonight to see a movie...well everyone ended up dividing up and Mahayla and I went to see Toy Story 3...she loved it. I can't believe how good she watched the movie and weren't so figity like she had been in the past. Amaya went with my sister and her kids to see Dispicable me and my mom went with Chance to see The Scorceror's Apprentice. We all left happy..and full from all the popcorn and candy! It turned out to be a good evening all around.

Don't know what I was thinking day...

I went shopping with my sister, nephew, and brother at the mall here in Texas. I have been wanting my eyebrow pierced since high school but never had the nerve to do it..and didn't really want to hear what my mom would have thought if I would have done it then...but now...there was nothing stopping me...and my nephew was in my ear...saying you won't do it...you don't have the nerve....so I decided to shut him up real quick...I signed the paperwork..and was waiting..thinking what in the world am I doing? I am 34 years old and sitting here like I am a teeny bopper! LOL! She came in and it went quick and it felt like two bees were stinging me at the same time..its a weird and painful feeling that is for sure. I am glad its over and hopefully it won't take long to heal. I gotta get used to having it though..and being careful when I towel dry my hair and brush it. I like how it looks though. Hopefully (crossing my fingers) that my hubby likes it when I go home and he see's it.

Splish Splash

Went to the pool today because it is super hot here in Texas! It's been in the 100's! Insanely hot! We tried to all get a little cooler. We had fun. Took some pictures of the kids splashing around. It was a pretty relaxing day! I however am sunburned even though I applied sunblock. It's just my luck. Gonna be hurting for a few days and might have to stay outta the sun awhile. Which will stink. The kids are having a blast here in Texas and so am I! We are wishing that Anthony could be here! We all decided next time we come visit he will have to come..for sure!

Vacation In Texas

We are having so much fun in Texas! My mom has flew out here and joined us and we haven't all been together minus our hubbys in a real long time. Tonight we have plans to go without kids to The Olive Garden and celebrate my sisters birthday and enjoy some good company. It was me, my mom, my sister, my sisters sister in law, and mother in law. We had a blast! I had never been to The Olive Garden and it was so fabulous..if you haven't been you should go..trust me. I had the five cheese ziti..and it was delicious! The salad and breadsticks were the best! We ordered hot artichoke and spinach dip..had never had it...but oh my goodness...I can't wait to have it again! It was yummy! All in all we had a great dinner and good adult convo without kids! It was nice (especially when it doesn't happen that often).

First Trip On A Airplane To Texas

We went to visit my sister Lori and her kids Ricky, Ashleigh, Ryan and Luke. Her hubby is serving us all proud in the Army and is in Kuwait right now. He has been stationed there for almost a year. So we decided to come out there and visit with them..and spend the end of the summer (3 weeks) with family. The kids have never been on a plane but were so excited to get on one, as well as nervous. I took a few snapshots of the kids on the plane. The stewardess gave them little flight wings for it being their first time flying..and also took them back and showed them their little kitchen area and things. They enjoyed that. They pretty much listened to the radio with their headsets and enjoyed a coke and some pretzels. All they could do is give me the thumbs up. They did get a little nervous at take off and at landing.....we had a smooth trip to Atlanta and then another smooth flight to San Antonio Airport. We never usually get to do things like this..and I have to say this is our biggest vacation we have ever taken. We are a little sad that Anthony couldn't come with us. He had to stay behind to work and take care of our dog Harley. We sure are gonna miss him though! Yay for vacations!!

Girl Scout Father/Daughter Lunch

Amaya was so excited to go to the lunch with her daddy. That is all she could talk about for days. She picked out the exact dress she wanted to wear and even helped her daddy pick out what he should wear too! All she could talk about was how much fun they had when they got home. They did crafts together, and played a skittles game..where you start at one end..and suck a skittle to the straw and hold your breath while you run to the other table to drop it on the plate. They had to see how many they could get and what Father/Daughter team would win. She said they didn't win..but she had so much fun playing it. I really think she enjoyed spending time with her dad alone without her sister and brother to take up his attention. She told us she for sure hopes they do this again.
