One Happy Little Girl

Amaya woke up and was so happy to see that the **Tooth Fairy** came last night! She was upset however that she wasn't able to stay awake long enough to get a peek at the Tooth Fairy! She is a mess! I told her to just know she was there..and has her tooth and left her some money!! She said yep I got alot of teeth left so there is always next time! I took a picture of her before she went to school today. She looks so different now! My little girl is changing right before my eyes.

Tonight before we went to bed Amaya was brushing her teeth...her front tooth was bleeding a little bit. Her dad asked to look at it...and she let him. Then he asked to pull it..and he said I will try one time and if it doesn't come out I won't touch it anymore! Well the tooth came on out! She was so happy! She looks so silly with her front tooth gone! She couldn't stop looking in the mirror and making silly faces. You know once your child looses the front teeth..they don't too much look the same...so I had to take pictures that morning before..in case she had lost it at school the next day. So there is a before and after pic. She is so happy that the **Tooth Fairy** is coming tonight! She said she hopes she will wake up when the tooth fairy comes in to get her tooth so she can get a peek at her and her wings and get to talk to her! So cute! She will be one happy little girl when she wakes up in the morning!

Beach Weekend

A friend and I decided that we would take the kids to the beach this weekend..with no hubbys. We were leaving them behind to work, and to fish together. The kids were excited to be getting time at the beach. This will probably be the last trip down there we take this year. Sad, I know. We decided to get them dinner..which was a quick trip to Mcdonalds and then head home to get them in the bed. So Saturday morning we woke up and ate breakfast...made us some lunch and snacks to take..and hit the beach!! The kids were wild childs running on that beach in the sand. I have to admit it was so nice feeling the sun on our backs and the sand between our toes. The kids had a blast playing in the water. Although the rip currents were really strong so we couldn't go out that far...there was a hurricane coming in within the next few days..like 4 or so. After we stayed out there for hours..we had to come in because it had started to rain. So we came home and took showers...and headed out to get some dinner. We ended up going to Chili's! That's where everyone picked to go. It was so yummy. The kids had fun coloring the chili pepper pictures they gave them..while we waited for our food we talked,laughed and ate chips and salsa. Food was so delish! We ate so much that we had to take some home with us! Then we headed to find a Putt-Putt place to go to. We ended up at the Treasure Island Putt Putt Place. The kids had so much fun! We haven't played that since earlier this year..so that was good we got to do it again. I of course forgot my camera when we got to the Putt Putt place I realized and so I took pictures on my phone..so I will have to figure out how to upload them on here. After Putt Putt we headed to Mcdonalds and got Mini McFlurries..and headed home. We got up early Sunday morning to head back home..and get ready for another week of school. I am so glad we got to go! But ugh...another long week begins!

First Day Of School is Here!

School time is here! The kids got up this morning all in good moods..although they mentioned a few times that they wish they could go back to bed. Mahayla was all about getting dressed and getting her shoes and grabbing her backpack and lunch bag way before it was anywhere near time to go. Their all dressed and ready. Of course this post is going to be picture heavy because well you know how moms are on the first day of school. Fingers crossed they go off today and come back with great stories and excited about this year!


Okay I am having a hard time with this..all my babies are in school..and well all I have done for the last 9 years is be a stay at home mom and take care of them..I am lost and don't know what to do with myself. I haven't ever had all this free time! I know I will grow to enjoy it in time...but for today...not sure about it. I am really missing them. I can't wait till hear about three of their days and hopefully they were great! I guess it is obvious...because all my family and a few friends have called/text asking me how I am handling it all...and making sure I'm alright. I am but just sad...my babies aren't babies anymore!


Kids are home and they were all tired of course...and slinging their backpacks everywhere...and starving! They were all full of stories about what they did, and who was in their classes and all. I am so glad they all three had a great day and aren't not wanting to go back tomorrow! So..I guess we all survived the first day of school. Here's to hoping there are many more days like this to come so we can have a great year!!

Here is a pic of the kids when we walked them into their classes! Chance was ready to go..Amaya was acting shy..and anyone that knows her...knows that she is Far from it! Mahayla was happy but was kinda nervous..but suprisingly didn't cry. I love these pictures! I had to take one of Anthony walking hand in hand with Mahayla to her class...she looks so little to be going to Pre-k.

School Starts Tomorrow

Okay..here it is whether they are ready or not..or me...the kids start school tomorrow! We have everything laid out and ready to go in the morning! They are nervous of course..that is normal I told them. They of course did not like going to bed early tonight..but they will thank me for it when they are getting up super earlier than what they have been. I can't believe all my babies are going to be in school this year. I will have a Pre-k'r, 2nd grader, and a 4th grader! Where has the time gone? I have been a stay at home mom for 9 years...so this is going to be interesting being here with no kids..guess I will have to adjust..can't keep them home forever...even though I wouldn't mind! Will blog more tomorrow when they come home and tell me how school was. Fingers crossed everyone wakes up in good moods, excited, and comes home with good reviews about the day!!

Open House

Open House today at the kids school. I have a Pre-k'r, 2nd grader, and 4th grader. Man where has the time gone. It seems like they were just babies and now they are all in school. Not sure how I feel about that. I am gonna be home alone..for the first time in 9 years. They on the other hand are excited to see their new classrooms, meet their teachers, and of course see who is in their class. Mahayla was so excited all she could say was she is finally in school and that she is a big girl now. Amaya got the same teacher Chance had when he was in 2nd grade...and I'm not sure how I feel about that....guess we shall see. Chance has 3 teachers so he is going to have to get used to where all his classes are. Shouldn't be hard since he changed classes last year also. Hopefully this will be a great year for all of them!

Girl Weekend/Guy Weekend

My husband Anthony, and my son Chance every year go on a camping weekend with some friends of ours every year! I sent a camera with them....so no pics until I get them developed. I hate throw away cameras..but wasn't about to let them take mine! So pictures will be to come soon. I am sure the guys are having just as much fun. Chance called me and told me he caught a big fish, and that he went kayaking and he even jumped from a rock into the water...he was so excited! In the meantime us girls...had our own fun...watching girly movies, painting nails, and doing eachothers hair. It's nice to have time with just the girls. I am sure the guys are glad to have their own time too. All in all it has been a pretty great weekend!

Sea World Here We Come!!

We woke up this morning and were so excited!! We packed our bags, towels, and snacks the night before. All we had to do was pack the small cooler for the trip on the way! The kids were so excited I thought they were going to have a spaz attack before we got there! All they could talk about is what they were going to see..and what they wanted to do. It was the first time for me and my kids to go...my sister and hers on the other hand...they had been plenty of times. It was nice seeing the shows, playing in the water..they loved the different pools and things to do in the water, and we got to see SHAMU of course!! We were so elated! I think I was just as excited if not more than the kids! I have always wanted to go.
Tomorrow we fly out..to go back home! I still have to pack and get things ready and hopefully fit everything we have bought while being out here into my suitcases. It has been a really great summer! We have done way more than we have before..and the kids will have plenty to write when they are asked to tell what they did this summer! I hate to have to say goodbye to my sister and the kids. I am going to miss them so much! We have had such a great time while we were out here! I really do love Texas! I wish Anthony would have gotten to come with us on this trip so that he could see how great it is! Maybe he will get to fly out sometime with us and get to see Texas and what all there is to do out there..compared to this little town we are in....so off we fly tomorrow....

I had to take a pic of Luke. He is the cutest thing...isn't he? He will be a year at the end of October. I love getting my "baby fix" while I am out here visiting! He was sitting up on the kitchen counter holding a tomato...and then decided to have a taste! He wasn't too sure about it after that. Just thought I would share a pic of him...he is such a cutie!!

School Shopping Time!!

Today we all hit the outlets! I got school shoes for everyone but Mahayla..couldn't find any in her size that I liked. I got I don't know how many outfits and a bookbag and lunch bag for Amaya from Old Navy. I shopped and shopped some more..I got a huge lead on school clothes which is a huge deal relief....jeans were on sale at The Childrens Place and so you know what that means..I had to hit them up big time! Too bad Chance can't fit their clothes anymore. I am gonna have to shop more for him somewhere else. I can relax though and know that I did get some stuff bought and they aren't just written on a Need To Get List anywhere! Now I have to make room in the suitcases to get it all back home. Then there is the nightmare school supply list that I will have to tackle as well. Thats gonna be a good chunk of money I am sure..the way the school likes to list and times it by three. Guess we shall see.
